Qurissy Lopez is a professional photographer, entrepreneur, and aspiring Art Director from the West Side of Chicago. In 2016, she and her partner started their own business, Sugar & Scrub, a baked goods and body care gift box business. Qurissy provides creative vision along with technical skills such as organization and excellent time management to efficiently execute concept projects. Her involvement with Free Spirit Media led her to be a first generation intern at Cinecare working as a Prop Pa on Chicago Fire Season 6. These days, Qurissy is focused on set designing and seeking Art PA roles in effort to accomplishing her most recent goal in becoming an Art Director.
"Drive Slow" follows a teenager from the South-Side of Chicago attempting to finish his college essays. As he struggles to boil down his complex surroundings in 500 words, his friends' disparate opinions, racist news narratives, and the threat of lingering danger only complicate the process.

PHOTOS: The InPathways Cohort Training Program launched on February 20th with an orientation at Stage 18! Cohort members from 2017 returned to discuss what they've been up to since completing the program, and new members came up with shared values for their group.
PHOTOS: Free Spirit Media Industry Pathways wrapped up The Chicago Track workshop series with a packed Columbia College auditorium for Web Series 101 with Open TV (beta). The workshop was targeted toward spiring web series creators, writers, producers, directors and anyone who wants to learn how to create transformative independent media.
