Police Brutality: Histories & Activism

May 16, 2016 | 9:43
Since the shooting of Michael Brown by officer Darren Wilson in 2014, police brutality has been brought to the forefront as a topic of controversy and discussion. This is especially true in Chicago, one of the most racially segregated cities in the country. In this documentary, Director/Producer and Chicago native, Lamar Miller, sets his sights on discovering the breath of police brutality in Chicago, where it stems from, and how activism can help protect youth and communities of color.
