The Chicago Onscreen Local Film Showcase returns in 2017 for a fourth year of locally-made and Chicago-focused films in Chicago parks. Join us August 29 - September 2 as we bring some of our city's homegrown filmmakers to nine neighborhood parks across the city.

This year's eighteen official selections comprise a broad and diverse cross-section of the city's vibrant filmmaking community. Each of these films questions and investigates, peels away layers of assumption and convention, and digs in, to expose what is just beyond what we think we know, under the surface of what we see or believe.
