Jakyrah and N’dea brought in esthetician and beauty YouTuber Brenda Grant, who gave us fresh perspective on the topic of black hair and cultural appropriation.

We all discussed in depth exploitation of black culture and also about how it may impact the way us as black people change their everyday life. What we learned is that not every black person is trying to change the things that other ethnicities do with their hair, all they are asking for is for others to acknowledge what they are taking from us and for others to stop slandering us when they are taking from us.
