The restaurants in Chicago’s Chinatown are hit hard as in-restaurant dining has been banned beginning March 16 at 9 p.m in Illinois.

Restaurants like Strings Ramen, try to stem revenue loss by working with food bloggers and posting more on social media to draw people.

However, their revenue has been reduced by thousands of dollars since the dining ban according to Tommy Bu, the assistant manager of Strings Ramen.

The ramen restaurant sitting in the heart of Chinatown, is offering ramen-to-go for the first time since their opening 5 years ago. They changed the way they cook and serve to ensure the quality of the takeout ramen because noodles might be ruined if the dish cannot be freshly consumed.

Strings Ramen also implements additional safety procedures, such as covering up the utensils and sanitizing the place about every 15 minutes.
