Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and trying to minimize the spread, Governor J.B Pritzker issued a  stay-at-home order on Friday, March 23 that went into full effect on Saturday at 5 p.m. The order is scheduled to continue until April 7th. Although not under ideal circumstances, people can catch up or be introduced to binge-worthy shows on Netflix.

American Horror Story:

The best thing about this show is you don’t have to watch the seasons in chronological order. Each season is about something totally new and creepy. Although I would recommend watching them in order just so you could notice how they all do make small references to one another. But, you will not be lost if you don’t watch them in order.

All American:

This show is in the top 10 on Netflix and voted #1 in the USA. So not only do I think it’s worth binge-watching but so does a number of people in America. It shows multiple different perspectives on minority lives.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina:

It’s based on the show Sabrina from the 90’s tv show. It has a more darker and modern spin on it and definitely worth the watch, it’s more than likely not what you’ll expect.

Shameless:

This show is hilarious and also takes place in the city of Chicago. I like Shameless because it’s a remake of a European show On Hulu. I’m a big fan of remakes, especially when they’re made correctly.

Bates Motel:

I will admit it starts slow. It’s based on the show of the horror movie from the 60’s, “Psycho”. It’s very exciting to follow the early life of Norman Bates (the main character). Unlike the original movie, you’re able to actually see the life in detail that Bates lived and what childhood trauma led him to behave the way he did.

Vampire Diaries:

Aside from my obsession with witches, I also love vampires. After watching Vampire Diaries you will definitely like the vampires on this show more than the ones you see in Twilight. A good thing about the show is if you finish all the seasons, they have a spin-off show on Netflix as well called The Originals.
