On Inauguration Day 2021 the nation watched as Kamala Harris placed her hand on the Bible to become our first female, first Black and first Asian-American Vice President. At various points in American history that accomplishment would have seemed almost impossible; yet, it was through the great efforts of those who fought for the rights of minority women that ultimately paved the way for someone like Harris to assume her place in history. Now with this specific historic moment, it is now Vice President Harris who will be paving the way for the next generation - some of whom have already shared their excitement via social media.

Although American citizens weren’t able to physically attend the 2021 Inauguration Day ceremony to witness history being made, the excitement was still shared all around social media.
