Senior Printmaking at Garfield Park

Garfield Park Conservatory hosted its first ever virtual printmaking class for seniors 55 years old and up. The class was for seniors to connect with others their age as Covid had put a strain on many seniors' abilities to do things that they used to enjoy.The cost of the class which included supplies like, linoleum, a wood block, ink and gauge, was around one hundred dollars but, scholarships were available to pay for the fees. The class was spread throughout eight sessions from the dates February 16th- April 15th classes were two days a week: Monday and Wednesday.
