Event Preview: The Power of the Woman 2022

March 8th may be International Women’s Day, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t important events happening throughout the month. 

One event that I would like to highlight is The Power of the Woman 2022, a two day conference built to “help women pivot in their life goals of business, faith, self-care, and relationships.”

Taking place on March 18-19 at the Double Tree by Hilton Chicago Midway Airport, the first day will primarily focus on love, sex, trauma, and therapy. The goal is to have participants take control of their mental health and focus on self-care in their own lives.  The day will serve as a space to share issues one may be dealing with, and open up on a variety of topics they feel comfortable with. From there the evening will then transition into a night of “prayer, prophetic worship and deliverance.” Empowering/uplifting one another is a focal point as the night goes on.

The second day of the conference women are encouraged to wear all white as food, music, and a pink runway for photos will all be on hand. Many of the same themes of the previous day will carry over but an emphasis on networking and sisterhood will take center stage. As women continue to grow in the workplace and as individuals a sense of community is essential and this event is more than worth checking out.
