Twelve of our most advanced youth pursued their filmmaking dreams this summer by working on the set of Transformers 3 while it was filming in Chicago. Free Spirit Media youth worked as interns in key departments, including production, camera, grip, hair and makeup, wardrobe, locations, and publicity. One lucky intern operated a camera for the behind­the­scenes crew! Experienced FSM staff were on set to coach our youth on maximizing their intern experience, especially focusing on building production skills and creating professional relationships. Our eager young filmmakers felt welcomed and inspired by the entire Transformers team, including director Michael Bay (pictured above).
