The Chicago Track is a workshop and networking event series for emerging creatives who are interested in learning about the film and music industries. All Chicago Track events are free and open to the public for young adults ages 18-25.
This opportunity builds on the professional skills and networks built in The Chicago Track for a cohort of 8-10 emerging media makers. This past year, the 2017 Cohort collaborated with Runaway Train Productions in the production of the short film for the Drive Slow series written by cohort members Terrence Thompson and Ryan Thomas with production support form DePaul University.
Flash Forward interns and program assistants receive opportunities to gain “hands on” experience and exposure in the media, film and television industry or in the classroom as crew leaders in Free Spirit Media’s youth summer journalism and broadcast programs. Opportunities are available for young creatives ages 16-24 with a passion for media production or journalism.
AGES: Young Adults 18-25
