Free Spirit Media is wrapping up another year of powerful, youth-focused media production.

You can help us finish our fiscal year strong today and enter our next fiscal year with momentum tomorrow by making a donation. All contributions will be matched thanks to a generous $50,000 challenge grant from the McCormick Foundation.

Check out some highlights from our 2016-17 program year:

Over 750 engagement opportunities were offered, and FSM participants - including our in-school classes at North Lawndale College Prep, HoopHIGH, and FSM News - produced over 700 videos and media pieces.

Our first ever Industry Pathways Certification Cohort served as crew on the production of Drive Slow, written and directed by cohort member Terrence Thompson.

Free Spirit PRO producers and Real Chi Youth reporters traveled across Illinois and to New York, Pennsylvania, Spain, and South Africa creating and screening documentary projects.
