Emerging Creatives Break Into Film Industry with Chicago Track Launch

On Saturday, November 17th Industry Pathways held their annual launch of The Chicago Track, a program series of industry workshops and master classes for emerging creatives seeking opportunities in film, media and television and premiere of "Fuzzy Legs", a capstone film project of the 2018 Industry Pathways Cohort.
This fabulous evening featured emerging creatives, media professionals and supporters mixing and mingling as well as captivating panel discussions with young media professionals and the crew of “Fuzzy Legs”. Panelists discussed their personal journeys of learning how to kickstart their careers and navigating paths into the creative workforce industry. Attendees were thrilled to hear from the panel and many of the crew of Fuzzy Legs.
Amber Eswani, the writer and director of the short film "Fuzzy Legs", shared her experience of working on a set for the first time and having the opportunity to write a story that contributes to normalizing the everyday life experiences of people of color.
